End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation environments which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an ideal alternative for applications that require regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment utilized by various companies who maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a way which is efficient and safe.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also have a hydraulic setup which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just offers more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
