There are dual fuel options available on the Z-80/60 model. The optional Deutz diesel powered engine is quiet, but turbocharged. It allows for improved performance at higher altitudes. Moreover, it carries more than enough torque for better terrain- and grade-ability.
The 4-wheel drive ability and full-time positive traction adds enhanced traction for tough terrain. The Z-135/70 just provides four-wheel steering. Optional features on this specific model include crab, coordinated, front wheel, and rear wheel steering to give the machine added agility. on the Z-80/60 helps enhance wheel contact on uneven ground. Genie's engine-powered articulating Z-booms are larger compared to any other Genie units. They feature a continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs that are designed to give the user a much better range of motion and reach. The Z-boom design gives the units exceptional over and up positioning capability that varies from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 unit to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 unit. The XChassis expanding axle is an innovatively designed device used for both extending and retracting axles out and in of stowed position. The width of the Z-135/70 unit equipment is only 2.46 meters when the axle is stowed. For easier transport, the Z-80/60 has fixed width axles.
